How it works

Simple arithmetic, done carefully.

• Drive time = one-way miles ÷ your average speed. Use the time your map app gives you to pick the speed; traffic and stops are yours to allow for.
• Fuel = round-trip miles ÷ your car’s mpg × the gas price you type.
• Total = fuel + tolls + parking + other, plus tickets and food times the number of people. Each = total ÷ people, rounded up to the cent.
• Timeline: leave-home time, plus drive time, plus hours there, plus drive time home.

Day Out lists no destinations, businesses, events, prices or opening hours. Check those with the place you are visiting.

Who runs it

Travel Garfield Day Out is an independent paid tool run by WeldonPC.com, based in the Cleveland area. It is not the City of Garfield Heights, Cuyahoga County, a tourism or visitors bureau or a chamber of commerce, and it speaks for none of them.
